Jeremiah's Soccer Game

Saturday April 24th, we went to watch Jeremiah play soccer for his team the Raptors. He did awesome and even scored a goal! If I counted right, between the kids and adults he had 12 family members rooting him on that day, so he couldn't of picked a better day to show his skills! Soccer seems to be his sport, he is such a good player not to mention one if not the youngest of the players on his team.

The kick that made the goal!

Swim Lessons with Mawmaw and Pawpaw

This week Mawmaw and Pawpaw came to swim lessons to watch Sydney and Mom was able to get in the water with Sydney during class. Sydney had so much fun, especially since they were there.

The last thing they did before session was over tonight was to dive down to get the rings. I was so proud of Sydney for doing this. When we first started lessons a few weeks ago she was terrified of putting her head completely underwater. Now we can't stop her from doing it! She is having so much fun and she really seems to be doing well considering her age. Hopefully it will come to use a lot this summer outside in the pool.

Easter Weekend

We started out Easter weekend by going to the Good Friday service and it was awesome, not that any less was expected. Saturday morning we had to hang around for a man to switch our satellite out, so Sydney and I dyed eggs. This was the first time I have ever dyed eggs before or that I can remember. Growing up we have always had plastic filled eggs with candy inside of them. But I thought it would be fun for Sydney to do, and as long as she didn't eat them, it would be alright. I know a lot of people eat them but just the thought of it to me grosses me out. Since I am a novice at this and wanted to say a few bucks, I just used food coloring from the pantry instead of a fancy easter egg dye kit. I don't think Sydney minded at all.
That afternoon we took Sydney across the street to the park and let her find the eggs.
Easter Sunday Mom and Dad came up and went to church with us and afterwrds we all went to eat at Pappasitas. It was delicioso.
In the afternoon we went to an Easter Egg hunt with the church. Unfortunately my "driver" got a little confused with his directions so it was over with by the time we got there but thankfully one of the girls that was helping with the egg hunt had some extra eggs to put out for Sydney to hunt.

Chuck E. Cheese with Miss Cheyanne

Cheyanne turned 3 a few weeks ago but we missed out on her party since we were in San Antonio so last week Sydney and Cheyanne were able to meet up for some fun at Chuck E. Cheese.
