San Antonio Day 2

Friday, March 19th, we got the girls up and headed out to Seaworld. Every year military can get in up to four free admissions with the Salute to Heros program they have and we take full advantage of it. This was Sydney's 3rd trip to Seaworld.

My favorite thing to do at Seaworld is feed the dolphins. Sydney loves animals but for some reason she really does not like the dolphins. Only if they are at a good enough distance does she like them. This was Avery's first trip to Seaworld and I really wanted her to feed the dolphins and not be afraid so Jason and I kept telling Avery how kind and gentle the dolphins are. But Sydney continued to interrupt us and inform Avery of all their "little teeth" they have. The girls were pretty much eye level with their teeth with they came to get the fish so I am sure that is where Sydney's fear came from. Avery was a little hesitant at first but she ended up having so much fun and we were so proud of her.

One of the two pictures I have of Sydney and the dolphins. She finally realized the dolphins weren't going to bite her after seeing the fun Avery was having and decided to give it a try...but just once, and after that she was done with the dolphin feeding experience.

This picture cracks me up. We took the girls inside the shark and fish aquarium and sat both of them on this ledge. When I took this picture they were both afaid the fish were going to get out of the glass and get them.

They climbed the net in Shamu's Happy Harbor to cross over to the pirate ship.

We went to the Shamu show, Believe. That's Shamu's baby she had in January swimming next to her.

 Keep in mind this is the first time Avery has ever seen Shamu. Just look at her expressions, they are priceless.

This picture shows how different the girls are. Sydney observes and takes everything in. And Avery showed her excitement through her emotions. Just look at that energy she is giving when telling Shamu "Bye!"

Next we all went to the Sesame Street Beach Party. Here are the girls waiting for the show to start.

And here they are screaming "Cheese" as loud as they both can. You think they were tired of having their picture taken?

We had so much fun with the two girls on our short trip. One of the best times was in the car. Jason and I endured all kinds of nursery rhymes and many variations of them. They are very creative to say the least. And of course I couldn't end without showing the game they loved playing. "Who has the stinkiest feet?"

Sydney is closing her eyes to smell her feet. The aroma is obviously intoxicating.

"Eww Stinky!"

I have to say they are pretty coordinated. Maybe not very lady like but coordinated.

All you could hear was hysterical laughter from the backseat when they played this game.
